Rotaract, like Rotary, is a worldwide organisation of volunteers dedicated to serving others and creating positive change for those who are less fortunate.

Rotaract Clubs volunteering and fundraise for numerous different community organisations, and have a lot of fun meeting and interacting with people along the way.

We are a very social organisation as well!

To keep up with our most current activities visit our Facebook page.

Rotaract is for young adults aged 18-30 years old, while Rotary is for people of all ages. The Rotaract Club of Barwon is the Geelong regions most active club. Our members are from all over the Geelong community and we have a presence at Deakin University. We meet at least twice a month and volunteer regularly. We don’t have a requirement for a minimum commitment to our club activities- we believe in flexibility to suit you and your study, work and social commitments.

We are active with a range of
organisations and we plan and carry out own activities, and occasionally join the Rotary Club in joint activities.

Membership is open to anyone, from anywhere, aged between 18 and 30 years.

The networking opportunities through Rotaract and Rotary are tremendous, as the organisations are made up of students, young professionals, business men, lawyers, local councillors, engineers, tradies, corporate CEO’s, local bank managers, school teachers, retirees and more- men and women from all races and all walks of life.

The Rotaract Club of Barwon is supported by the Rotary Club of Geelong East and the Deakin University Student Association (DUSA).
