It is tradition in The Rotary Club of Geelong East that the President-Elect is also the Director of Club Service. 

Club Service manages the administrative side of the Rotary club.  A number of committees and single person functions that report to Club Service.  These include:

  • Bulletin Editor
  • ClubRunner Webmaster
  • Sergeant at Arms
  • Attendance
  • Room set up
  • Greeters
  • Rotary Information
The Club Service Committee is also responsible for the management of the club's assets and for maintaining a record of those assets.

On a weekly basis, it is the responsibility of the various members of this committee to ensure that the room is set up ready for Guest Speakers and other activities that are scheduled to take place on any given night.
